Mariners Drown Pioneers 12-2

Cupertino fell behind early and never recovered, losing to Aptos 12-2, Tuesday afternoon at Aptos. The Mariners managed only 3 more hits than the Pioneers, but were more productive with their baserunners.

Connor Shiomoto and Ben Townsend each had a pair of hits for the Pioneers, and Ben Champion, Tim Dinh, Zach Crawford and Josh Longabaugh each had one.

With the loss, Cupertino’s record is now 2-2.
