Cupertino Shuts Out Sobrato

The Sobrato Bulldogs made the trip from Morgan Hill to Cupertino on Wednesday, April 13 for the first meeting between the two schools since 2007. The Bulldogs are members of the of the BVAL Santa Teresa Division.

Josh Longabaugh and Liam Hernandez combined on a shutout as Cupertino defeated the Bulldogs 7-0. Longabaugh earned the win and Hernandez the save.

Anthony Pozzetti led the Pioneers offense with two doubles, a single and an RBI.

With the win, Cupertino’s record improves to 2-8, 7-10.
