Varsity Loses 3-2 At Lynbrook

The Pioneers lost 3-2 in an El Camino Division contest at Lynbrook on Thursday afternoon as the Vikings played small ball and pushed a run across in the bottom of the 7th.

Anthony Pozzetti, Josh Longabaugh, Jacob Alexander and Alan VIgent all had singles. Ben Champion drove in a run on a fielder’s choice in the first, and Alan Vigent drove in one with a single in the fourth.

With the win Lynbrook improves to 4-3, 1-1 while Cupertino drops to 2-8, 1-3.

League play continues next week as the Varsity travels to Monta Vista on Tuesday for a 4:00pm game.
