Down 6-3 to Monta Vista after 3 innings, Cupertino took a 7-6 lead on a Morgan Saenz grand slam in the top of the 4th, eventually winning 13-6, in a SCVAL El Camino Division game on Tuesday afternoon at Monta Vista.

In addition to the granny, Saenz had a double with an RBI and a single with an RBI, and not surprisingly and intentional walk, giving him a three hit, six RBI afternoon.

Stan Sumibcay had two singles and a ground rule double and two RBIs. Daniel Kono had a double and a single. Josh Longabaugh had two singles. Adam Apolinar, Tony Uribe and Alan Vigent had a single apiece.

Josh Longabaugh, having taken the mound with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fourth, ended the rally to preserve the one-run lead, earning him the win, his second of the season.

This was the final meeting of the two teams in 2013, with Cupertino having won 2 of 3 of this year's series. The visiting team was the winner in each of the games.
