Cupertino High School lost to Monta Vista High School 2-1 in a SCVAL El Camino Division game at Cupertino on Thursday, March 29. Second baseman Grady Li went 2 for 4 with two doubles, and first baseman Stan Sumibcay had a double and a single. The game had originally been scheduled to be played at Monta Vista, but was moved to Cupertino due to athletic field renovations in progress at Monta Vista. This was the second of three meetings between the teams this season.
