Cupertino High School came up short, losing to Gunn High School 4-3 on Thursday afternoon at Gunn in a SCVAL El Camino Division game.

Matt Kuhl, had a triple, Stan Sumibcay had a ground rule double and Cameron Longabaugh had double.

This was the third meeting of the two teams this year, with Gunn ahead at 2 games to 1. With the win, Gunn clinches first place in the El Camino Division and promotion to the De Anza Division in 2013.
