Highlights: Two wins over 27-3 Monta Vista, a win over Bellarmine in the Soquel Classic, and a CCS appearance that included wins over Burlingame and Palo Alto, before an eight inning 3-2 semifinal loss to San Lorenzo Valley.

Bret Hemphill went on to play at Cal State Fullerton from where he was drafted by the California Angels in 1994. He played professionally for seven seasons, reaching the Majors with the Angels in 1999.

1990 went 18-7, broke a 14 year postseason drought, went 2-1 in CCS and produced a major leaguer.
