Pioneers 2015 Schedule Released

Cupertino has an exciting schedule in store during the 2015 season.  Led this year by new Head Coach Pete Hernandez, the Pioneers will play 27 games, including 15 El Camino Division league games and an appearance in the Santa Clara Tournament.

After a scrimmage with Piedmont Hills on Saturday, February 21, the Pioneers open their 2015 season on Tuesday, February 24 at Washington Park when they take on Independence in a 4:30pm game in the Santa Clara Tournament.

League play begins on Tuesday, March 17 with a home game against El Camino Division rival Monta Vista.  This year the El Camino includes Fremont, Gunn, Lynbrook, Monta Vista and Santa Clara.  

Saratoga visits on March 6 for the first of four Interdivisional meetings with the De Anza Division teams, which also include Homestead, Los Altos and Mountain View.

Evergreen Valley, Half Moon Bay and Harbor all come to Cupertino in 2015, and the Pioneers will travel to Sunnyvale for a game with King’s Academy.

Cupertino closes out the regular season on Friday, May 15 at home when it hosts Gunn on Senior Day.

This season the El Camino Division will switch to Wednesday and Friday games for the final two weeks of the season, corresponding to the beginning of the  De Anza Division’s  playoffs.
