Rules for Scrimmages

posted Feb 16, 2014, 11:49 AM by Bill Walstrom   [ updated Jan 14, 2016, 6:53 AM ]
Under Central Coast Section bylaws a scrimmage is defined as a game with a three hour time limit in which a score is not kept, there are no paid officials, substitution rules are not in effect and  coaches can stop and start play for instructional purposes.

A team may schedule a maximum of two scrimmages, with neither of the two counting against the team’s 27 game limit.
