Cupertino High School starting pitcher Matt Kuhl must have thought it was going to be one of those days as Cupertino trailed Sequoia High School 4-0  after two innings even though he hadn't allowed a hit.   Eventually  the offense came to life, scoring 4 in the third and 5 in fifth, while Kuhl continued to not allow any hits.  In the end, Cupertino came away with a 9-4 win, and Kuhl came away with a no-hitter and his first win of the season. Austin Johnson had a single and a double, Stan Sumibcay had two singles and Tommy Gomez, Tony Uribe and Matt Kuhl each had a single..Sequoia is located in Redwood City and is a member of the Peninsula Athletic League.
