Cupertino High School starting pitcher Matt Kuhl must have thought it was going to be one of those days as Cupertino trailed Sequoia High School 4-0 after two innings even though he hadn't allowed a hit.
Eventually the offense came to life, scoring 4 in the third and 5 in fifth, while Kuhl continued to not allow any hits. In the end, Cupertino came away with a 9-4 win, and Kuhl came away with a no-hitter and his first win of the season.
